Is registration really free?
Yes. There is no charge for joining the candidate interest list.
How long might a stay be?
We are exploring stays of approximately 4–8 weeks. Actual opportunities may vary.
Do I need to speak Mandarin?
No Mandarin skills are required to express interest.
What would I do with a host family?
Potential activities include sharing meals, talking in English, participating in family life and spending agreed time with children. Exact expectations must be discussed in advance.
Will I have time to explore?
Personal time and schedules would be agreed individually with a potential host family.
Can I take Mandarin classes?
That may be possible depending on the city, schedule and arrangements.
Is accommodation or pocket money provided?
We cannot promise either at registration. Any proposed arrangements would be discussed transparently before a decision.
Can I enter China without a visa?
Entry and activity rules depend on citizenship, purpose and what you actually do. A cultural-exchange label does not itself authorize work or childcare. We would clarify the applicable requirements before any stay.
Am I committed if I register?
No. Registration is non-binding and does not guarantee an introduction or placement.
